1° Ce site ne publie pas, en connaissance de cause, d'informations individuelles, sauf si elles ont été communiquées volontairement pour leur publication (par exemple dans un annuaire) ou dans un forum de discussion et sont donc considérées comme publiques.

 

2° Les seules informations communiquées sont: Nom - Prénom - email - Adresse succincte (Ville ou département et pays). Lorsque le prénom est relié à une page personnelle, les deux cas sont possibles:

a) Les pages ont été communiquées au créateur de ce site pour être publiées.

b) Les pages ont déjà été publiées, soit sur un autre site, soit par l'intermédiaire de pages personnelles de la personne en question. Le simple fait de publier des pages personnelles veut dire que l'on désire qu'elles soient regardées, et par le plus grand nombre, sinon on ne les publie pas, c'est évident. Les liens vers ces pages sont donc d'abord de la publicité gratuite pour celles-ci.

3° Ce site n'autorise pas de "recherche inversée" qui puisse permettre de retrouver les individus, sur la base de leur email.

4° Ce site est à but non lucratif. Par contre, toute personne portant le nom de FONTENEAU qui désire y publier des pages concernant son métier, ou pour promouvoir ses produits est acceptée. Le but de ce site étant de regrouper les FONTENEAU et FONTENOT du monde entier, il n'est que de créer une convivialité entre individus portant le même nom, et pour certains même, cousins sans le savoir. Il est indéniable que TOUS les FONTENEAU et FONTENOT d'Amérique ont un ancêtre Français.

Le nom FONTENOT, très présent en Amérique du Nord, vient de FONTENEAU qui a été modifié, après le mariage de Louis FONTENEAU né à Poitiers le 18/12/1686, Mort à Fort Toulouse (Alabama) usa, le 29/10/1755. Louis FONTENEAU, donc, s'est marié sous le nom de Jean-Louis FONTENOT en 1726 aux USA, avec Louise HENRY. Ensuite, pour cette branche, le nom FONTENOT est resté.

The very existence of the name FONTENOT in North America comes from FONTENEAU which has been modified with the marriage of Louis FONTENEAU, born in Poitiers on 18/12/1686 emigrated to the USA after 1700 (deceased at Fort Toulouse (Alabama) USA on 29/10/1755). For this lineage, the name FONTENOT was remained, at his marriage with Louise HENRY in 1726. Louis FONTENEAU became Jean-Louis FONTENOT and will be FONTENOT for all his descendants.
